Pointing man

That thing is NOT his thing. It is called a “codpiece”. Men use to wear them long ago.

It was a decoration placed there – below the belt. Ladies wore big decorated hats during one era, but before that – it was men and their codpiece.

Of course, he has to point out his codpiece, the latest in men’s fashions. Later, the fashion in men’s codpieces had men wearing huge decorations there.

Whatever gets you where you want to go?

Some people use dogs as fashion pieces. Can’t grow hair like a movie star? Walk an Afghan Greyhound. Don’t have a baby just learning to walk – get a dog that waddles.

Can’t point to your masculinity in public? Get a pit bull.

Dog Breed?

Yes that rolled belt is another codpiece. Men! and their vanity.

Now we can we put aside the codpiece, and discuss THE DOGS.

Are they Alaunts, greyhounds, bull terriers, great Danes, or something else?

Of course, they can’t really be any of today’s breeds because this was long ago, but were these dogs the ancestors of some breed? Who claims them as what?
